Chinese Ambassador to Finland speaks at WALCC forum

China’s Ambassador to Finland, Mr. HUANG Xing, was among the distinguished speakers at this year’s fall Low-Carbon City Development World Forum, which also included experts in the field; key government decision makers; and companies in related industries. The Ambassador’s presence at the forum reflected the central role which China plays in the World Alliance for Low Carbon Cities’ core strategy of engaging worldwide cooperation between public and private sector entities in advancing low-carbon technology and putting it into practice in the world’s metropolises.

Mr. HUANG’s opening address, a transcript of which is posted in full below (pdf), focused on the integral role which Chinese-Finnish relations play in driving future low-carbon development, further emphasizing the variety of ways in which Finland and China can benefit from cooperation between the two countries.
